Overview
HPE Trusted Platform Module 2.0 Gen10 Plus
The HPE Trusted Platform Module (TPM) works with programs such as Microsoft Windows® BitLocker™ to increase data security by storing the encryption startup key in hardware on the server, which provides a more secure environment by pairing the drive to the server. Pairing the drive to the server helps prevent the encrypted drive from being read if inserted in a different server. The HPE TPM can also store passwords, certificates, and encryption keys that can authenticate server hardware and software through remote attestation while the measured boot capability enhances the effectiveness of anti-malware solutions. The HPE TPM options conform to the Trusted Computing Group specifications and provides hardware-based authentication and tamper detection preventing a TPM from being moved to another server or replaced.

Standard Features
TPM Standards HPE Gen10 Plus TPM BR/WR Module Kit: The chip within the module complies with the Trusted Computing Group specification for version 2.0 revision 1.38 (default) and version 1.2 revision 1.16, and meet Common Criteria Certification level EAL4+. HPE Trusted Platform Module 2.0 for Gen10: The chip within the module complies with the Trusted Computing Group specification for version 2.0 revision 1.16 (default) and version 1.2 revision 1.16, and meets Common Criteria Certification level EAL4+.
Supported HPE BIOS
The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM BR Module Kit is compatible with HPE Gen10 Plus Rack and Tower servers only.
The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM WR Module Kit is compatible with HPE Gen10 Plus Synergy and Apollo servers only.
The HPE Trusted Platform Module 2.0 for Gen10 is compatible with HPE Gen10 servers only.
Support Matrix
The Trusted Platform Module Options are designed to be installed onto the vacant TPM connector on supported servers. Once
installed, the TPM module becomes a permanent part of the system board. It is not designed to be removed.
The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM BR Module Kit is compatible with HPE Gen10 Plus Rack and Tower servers.
The HPE Gen10 Plus TPM WR Module Kit is compatible HPE Gen10 Plus Synergy and Apollo servers.

Warranty
The HPE Trusted Platform Module and the HPE Trusted Platform Modules have a 3-year limited warranty regardless of the warranty period for the system in which they are installed.
